	We provide health care in a professional manner and provide quality service to all patients to facilitate the highest level of complete health care available to each patient by working in concert with the entire community of health care providers. We recognize each person as an individual with unique needs and always focus on the safest most effective methods that is best for the patient. We utilize the proper documentation, evaluation, examination and modern laboratory testing methods in the assessment of your condition. We use the best healing therapies available from modern Western, chiropractic, physical, nutritional and herbal medicine. We take the time to create an environment in which each patient's needs and concerns can be fully understood and addressed. We educate patients about preventive measures they can take to improve health, longevity and their quality of life We refer to appropriate medical specialists and other health care providers when your condition requires further intervention or diagnostic evaluation. We respect and protect your privacy of information and records during your period of care. We only provide treatment for cases we feel we can truly help.


	Welcome to our Office Our office, the Natural Family Health Care Center is a privately owned facility directed by Dr. Christopher Z. Lachowski. We are conveniently located in Southeastern Connecticut to serve the entire New England region. Other individuals living outside the New England region may consult with us through our Natural Health Care Education at a Distance Program. Dr. Christopher Lachowski is a family physician licensed as a chiropractic physician in CT with post graduate training in clinical nutrition, naturopathy and preventive medicine. He is a pioneer in the integration of natural therapies and the application of wholistic natural medicine in designing treatment approaches which are complementary and promote the natural healing response of the body. He treats patients with neuromuscular pain and many common health problems with an innovative approach integrating the methods of traditional chiropractic, sports medicine, manual muscle therapy, kinesiology, naturopathy, clinical nutrition, therapeutic exercise, stress management and environmental medicine. You are provided time and personal attention in a relaxed and comfortable office setting. Click here for more About the Doctor The Process INITIAL CONSULTATIONS: To help you understand how our services and care may help you, all new patients are invited to take advantage of a complimentary 15 - minute consultation. EXAMINATIONS & EVALUATIONS: Our healthcare is delivered in a professional manner, so before any recommendations or treatment is rendered a proper examination or evaluation is required. Upon scheduling your examination appointment you will be provided intake forms to describe your present health status. REPORT OF FINDINGS OFFICE VISIT: The first visit after the examination is a prolonged office visit to describe your condition and options of care. 	INSURANCE Many insurances cover chiropractic care for the treatment of pain conditions like back pain, headaches and injuries from sports, work or auto accidents. We participate with many programs like Anthem BCBS, Health Net, United Healthcare, Medicare and others. Many other complementary natural medicine services like nutritional counseling, functional medicine and nutritional laboratory testing, supplements, weight management programs and preventive medicine programs are commonly not covered by insurance.
